How do I deposit money on an inmates account or purchase them commissary?
- Visit the website JailATM™
- Friends and family will need to create a username and password to add funds.
- Once logged in, click on SEND MONEY NOW. This will get you to a screen of dropdown choices.
- On drop down choices select: State=WI > Facility Name=Iowa County Sheriff’s Dept > Last Name or ID =Inmates last name. These are required fields to be able to access the screen that require your credit card information.
- This website is NOT maintained by the Iowa County Jail and any questions or concerns should be directed to contact information from the website.
How do I post bail online?
- Contact jail to ensure bond amount is current. Dial 608-935-3314 x 3.
- Visit the website JailATM™ and go to the “pay a bond” section
- Click on PAY BOND NOW
- On drop down choices select: State=WI > Facility Name=Iowa County Sheriff’s Dept > Last Name or ID=Inmates last name. These are required fields to be able to access the screen that require your credit card information.

What medications can be brought to the Iowa County Jail?
- We generally do not accept outside medications but critical medications will be reviewed on a case by case basis. We work with our medical provider to ensure continuity of care.
Will I be allowed to bring my CPAP machine to the jail that I use to sleep at night?
- Yes, our jail can make accommodations for individuals who use a CPAP.
