Who We Are

We’re here to help older people and people with disabilities – along with their families and caregivers – find services and resources to keep them living well and independently.We help: Adults age 60 and older, Adults with physical or developmental disabilities

Our Mission

The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Southwest Wisconsin is dedicated to providing older adults and people with physical or developmental/intellectual disabilities with the resources needed to live with dignity and security, and achieve maximum independence and quality of life. The goal of the ADRC is to empower individuals to make informed choices and to streamline access to the appropriate services and supports.

Rural Taxi @ Rural Iowa County
May 9 @ 8:15 am – 4:00 pm

Serving Rural Iowa County Residents. Will travel throughout Iowa County on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Call the ADRC at 608-930-9835. Cost is based on mileage. Closed for all major holidays. Inclement weather cancellations are posted on Facebook and D99.3.

Monroe-Juda-Brodhead-Albany to Janesville Shuttle @ ADRC
May 9 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Reservations are required and can be made by calling the ADRC at (608) 328-9499. Priority is given to older people and people with disabilities.  If space is available, we provide transportation to anyone of any age who requests a ride.  Reservations can be made at any time, but must be made at least one day prior to the trip.

  • Community outings
  • Local speakers

The ADRC Taxi operates every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and second and fourth Thursday in Dodgeville 7:45 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. We are closed on all major holidays. Call the ADRC Taxi at 608-553-0590 for all your Dodgeville needs.

The Wisconsin Aging Advocacy Network (WAAN) will hold our 8th Annual Aging Advocacy Day (AAD) 2024 event in Madison on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.

Citizens from around the state will gather in Madison on Tuesday, May 14 for training, to meet with other constituents from their Senate and Assembly district, and for office visits with their legislators. Following the training, attendees will join others from their state Senate and Assembly district to provide information and share personal stories with legislators to help them understand how specific policy issues and proposals impact individuals, families, and older constituents.
