Iowa County is awarding grant funding for the abatement, prevention, treatment, and recovery of opioid drug use and its various effects.  Applicants shall be non-profit organizations, county agencies or departments, schools, municipalities, or state or federal agencies.

 

Applicants will present their applications to the Iowa County Health and Human Services Committee.  Applicants will prepare a short (5 minute) presentation and be prepared to answer questions.

 

Applications due on September 1 will be heard at the October HHS meeting. 

Applications due on January 1 will be heard at the February HHS meeting.

Applications due on May 1 will be heard at the June HHS meeting. 

 

Applications will be ranked by members of the Iowa County Health and Human Services Committee based on need, feasibility and readiness, communications plan, and sustainability.  Multi-year applications will be accepted. 

 

Applications must be filled out completely and comprehensively.
