COVID-19 Community Testing

The Iowa County Health Department has stopped its drive-thru COVID-19 PCR testing.

This change is due to several factors including: widely available free antigen at-home tests, significant changes from DHS on Community Testing Program requirements, limited staff capacity, and low volume of specimens being collected at the current clinics.

There are other local COVID-19 testing options in Iowa County. Click here to find a location near you: https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/covid-19/community-testing.htm

Order at-home test kits from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services Say Yes! COVID Test program here: https://sayyescovidhometest.org/en

In addition to the free tests available from DHS, the Iowa County Health Department has a supply of free at-home antigen tests. These free tests are available (M-F 8am-4:30pm) in the lobby of the HHS building, 303 W. Chapel Street, Dodgeville.

Expiration dates for antigen tests have been extended so check your test and visit the FDA link https://www.fda.gov/.../home-otc-covid-19-diagnostic-tests for more information.
