When can I get a temporary tag and how much does it cost?

You can get them here at Iowa County Sheriff's Department 24 hours a day.  You need to fill out a form that is at the Iowa County Sheriff's Department or online at http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/drivers/forms/mv1.pdf and this will give you the cost.  Bring this and your title with you when you come to get your temporary tag. 

 

I was told by a law enforcement officer that I need to do a self accident report form and that I could find the link on their website.

You need to fill out an Open Record Request Form.  You can pick this form up at the Iowa County Sheriff's Department or click on this link.
