Road Closures & Construction

 

May 13, 2008                                     **ROAD CLOSURE**

The Iowa County Highway Department will be closing a portion of CTH “T” north of Barneveld and south of CTH “H”, between Oak Road and Bryn Grwyn Road in Brigham Township for road construction.  The closure will begin on Monday, May 19 through approximately Thursday, May 30, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Emergency vehicles will be able to travel through the construction area if needed.

 

Motorist Tips to get though construction zones with a minimum of stress as provided by the WisDot:

-Buckle up for safety

-Know where construction zones are located and allow extra time to get through them

-Avoid peak travel hours

-Watch for special messages on electronic message boards as you approach construction zones

-Slow down, get into the correct lane early, and merge cautiously.

-Stay alert for surprise slow-downs

-Taken an alternate route
